Ferenc Krausz je dobitnik Nobelove nagrade za fiziku u 2023. On je rođen u Moru, Mađarska, 17. maja 1962. godine. Radi u Max Planck institutu za kvantnu optiku u Garchingu u Nemačkoj. Nagradu je dobio za razvoj eksperimenata koji proizvode atosekundne svetlosne impulse. Ovi impulsi omogućavaju proučavanje kretanja elektrona u materiji.
